Unique Christmas Décor And Game Ideas For The Party Of Your Dreams

Posted on: June 21, 2011

It is not easy to throw a great Christmas Party. Time, effort, and dedication are needed (and a nice budget if possible) to throw a Christmas party to remember. While having a large budget is not necessary to throw a fun, entertaining Christmas, it sure does help. With money aside, creative, unique ideas that can stretch a person's budget are also very important. One way to stretch your budget while enhancing your Christmas party is using simple arts and crafts.

Not only can making your own Christmas decorations be simple, doing the arts and crafts can be a fun way to express an individual's creativity. White, Styrofoam balls, felt, construction paper, markers, tape, and glue are inexpensive materials that create wonderful snowmen in a short amount of time. Use the same materials and principles and use pinecones to make pinecone elves.

Pipe-cleaner snowflakes are very easy to make and require various lengths of white pipe-cleaners, scissors, needlenose pliers, and wire cutters. Pipe-cleaners are inexpensive and excellent for sprucing up any area in the home.

Placing Garland in the proper place can make and unattractive area a new focal point. Place homemade garland on a mantle, on the guardrail of the steps and anywhere else where garland is appropriate. Homemade garland can include anything from popcorn, windecorks, cranberries, small pinecones, peppermint candies, and paper snowflakes. No Christmas party is complete without a host of fun, entertaining party games for all in attendance to enjoy.

If you would like to test the knowledge of your party guest you can play Christmas Trivia. You can test the party guest on things like Christmas movies, songs, cartoons, Santa Claus's origin and other things holiday related with Christmas party games.
